This tour is designed for paddlers of moderate skill levels. While prior kayaking experience is recommended, beginners with a reasonable level of fitness and a sense of adventure are welcome to join.
The Broughton Archipelago is renowned for its rich biodiversity. Expect to encounter playful marine mammals such as seals, sea lions, and even orcas. Additionally, birdwatchers will delight in sightings of puffins, eagles, and a variety of seabirds.
Accommodations typically consist of tent camping at established campsites along the route. Participants are responsible for setting up their own tents, though assistance is available if needed. Please note that facilities may be basic, with no electricity or running water.
Safety is our top priority. Experienced guides accompany the group at all times and provide thorough safety briefings before each kayaking excursion. Additionally, all participants are required to wear personal flotation devices (PFDs) while on the water.
Essential items to pack include weather-appropriate clothing (including rain gear), sunscreen, a hat, sturdy footwear that can get wet, a water bottle, insect repellent, and a camera or binoculars for wildlife viewing.
